Equine Natural Movement Series
Equine Natural Movement Series is a powerful bodywork system that realigns a horse’s structure and unravels tension patterns that compromise fluid movement. Over the past few years many horse owners, especially those who use complementary healthcare themselves, have been actively seeking out Equine Natural Movement Series for their own horses. They want them to be healthier, move better, age well and have an edge in competition. After ENMS sessions, horses use their bodies more efficiently, their muscle tone is more balanced from side to side, strides become longer, gaits are smoother and the ride is more enjoyable.
Joseph Freeman - Instructor
Although there are numerous ENMS practitioners on the West coast, this is the first time ENMS has been offered on the East coast. The Equine Natural Movement Series course is taught in three modules and leads to certification as an Equine Natural Movement Series practitioner.
Level One covers Equine Natural Movement Series bodywork, equine connective tissue, safety practices, equine body language and communication, and develops hand sensitivity. Students spend a lot of time working on horses so they learn hands-on. By the end of the first course they are able to give a basic Equine Natural Movement Series session.
In Level Two students learn to design individual bodymaps, working blueprints for each horse that evolve and change throughout the horse’s series. Students become competent in horse anatomy both standing and in movement. They learn to feel subtle differences and changes in equine connective tissue and are able to conduct evaluations, identifying what each horse needs and why. Students also learn to read horses better so they can continuously adapt their work and interact appropriately with the horses throughout the sessions.
In Level Three students learn how to bring their Equine Natural Movement Series business to life. During this module, students continuously polish their Equine Natural Movement Series sessions on horses while they develop the individual tools and skills that enable them to create a thriving Equine Natural Movement Series practice. Satisfactory completion of Level Three leads to Equine Natural Movement Series certification.
