Small Animal Anatomy Primer ©
Designed for people that have been out of school for a while or who have no anatomy background and want to get a head start on the certification program. The course consists of a set of 4 CD ROMs. Each CD contains a different lecture class -
1. Anatomical Terms - directional terms, planes of the body, body cavities, and terms of movement.
2. Bones - bone shapes, anatomy of bone, bone markings, bone names, joints and types of joints
3. Muscles - functions of muscle, types of muscle tissue, fascia, tendons, muscle anatomy and muscle terminology.
4. Dogs and Cats - canine and feline genetics, types of hair coats, and topographical anatomical terms.
Also included is a text book - Guide to Veterinry Terminology -, study guide for each lecture, a anatomy workbook, and 3 tests.
View and listen to each lecture and use the text to help you review information to answer the questions presented in a format of multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blanks and diagrams. This is a self-study course.
